For a very long time, over two years now, I have been trying hard to bend reality and make two separate interests of mine blend – empowering beauty and women empowerment. While the two have something in common, they remain two separate things.
I’m sure that this hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Many of the posts on the Reina Organics blog or Instagram page require a lot of thinking to find the reason why they are on the website of a green beauty boutique, even though Reina Organics is first about helping women feel comfortable in their skin.
Then came Hail the Queen. The vision I have for the podcast is about women empowerment rather that empowering beauty and often I had to sacrifice that because of the association of the podcast with Reina Organics.
On a personal level, forcing the two things to become one has caused me a lot of frustration too, especially on occasions when I’ve wanted to talk about something but because I couldn’t find a connection with Reina Organics, I decided to drop it altogether.
I’m sure that this situation has been confusing for many clients and followers of Reina Organics – are we going to talk about empowering beauty or women empowerment?
Again, two things which have something in common but interest in one of them doesn’t mean you’re interested in the other one too.
Just a few days before New Year I had a session with my coach and it all became crystal clear.
As a result of that powerful and liberating realization, I’ve decided to separate my work in the two areas.
Moving forward the conversations at Reina Organics will be around empowering beauty. Honest, from the heart, beauty from within with the help of some aahmazing natural products.
My work in the area of women empowerment will continue on my personal website raynavanaalst.com and Instagram account as a coach, speaker and any opportunity that comes my way. Feel free to join me there too.
For now, the Reina Organics newsletter will be on a more random basis instead of every Sunday as it was so far, until I am clear on what I would like the new Reina Organics newsletter to look like. If you have any ideas, please do let me know.
And of course, thank you for your support so far and through major transition.
This year has almost come to an end. Many people are busy with New Year’s resolutions. Others are reviewing the past year. Some are busy with both. Here's something which I believe most of us forget.
